WHO RESCUED WHO by Victoria Schade – Spotlight & Giveaway

Don’t even get me started on how cute the cover of WHO RESCUED WHO (Berkley) is. It’s a delightful novel any four-legged lover will love. Where can you turn when the world turns against you? When Elizabeth Barnes’ life fell apart she never imagined that she’d be rescued by a new friend on four paws.

The plan was simple: Elizabeth would ignore the fact that she was unjustly fired from her dream job, fly across the pond to settle an unexpected inheritance in her father’s home country and quickly return to reclaim her position among the Silicon Valley elite.

But when Elizabeth stumbles upon an abandoned puppy, she’s shocked to realize that her brief trip to England might turn into an extended stay. Her strict itinerary is upended completely by the pup’s dogged devotion, and soon the loveable puppy helps her to connect with a tight-knit community of new friends on two legs and four, from the aunt and uncle she didn’t know existed, to a grumpy coffee shop owner to two very opinionated sheep. Along the way Elizabeth is confronted by long-kept family secrets, hard truths about her former life and a new romance that might lead her to question everything she knows about love. Because sometimes rescue magic happens on both ends of the leash.

I just love reading books about relationships with our four-legged friends and family. They’re always full of heart-felt love and genuine humor! Ruff! Ruff!

  1. My favorites are my 4 retired lamancha milk goats, but I also have two rescued cats and a dog.

  2. Unfortunately, I don’t have a four legged pal now. I grew up with a beloved wire hair fox terrier named Puzzle. He had to be given away when my baby nephews lived with us. Puzzle was jealous and started nipping the babies.

  4. When my beloved little dog of 14 years died, I was heartbroken to put it mildly. Six months went by and I kept saying no more dogs. So one night two days before Christmas my son came in and handed me this adorable barely 3 pounds ball of fur! He quickly won me over and Fletcher is now four years old, is a very loved, very spoiled and sometimes very ornery Shih Tzu who has totally captured my heart.

  5. What a cute cover and I would love to read the story. Right now our furry friends are 2 cats, one old and crank and one young and feisty. Our beloved Pug Pep left us last year, still miss him. Dogs are the best friends.

He was so full of heart worm our vet was afraid he wouldn’t make it through the treatment – but he did and he’s now 11 and just the best companion in the world! He is such a goodwill Ambassodor – loves time in the nursing homes and loves kids! He is our dog-child!!! ❤️❤️❤️

  9. Buster was about one year old when my husband and I found him in the parking lot of our gym. That no one claimed him surprises me because he was exceptionally cute and cuddly. I’m grateful no one did, though because he quickly took our hearts.

  11. Our little dog Albert is half Yorkie and half Chihuahua and is 14 years old now. He has been such a good dog, but you can sure tell that he has slowed down over the past few months. He almost can’t hear any longer. All of this makes us so sad to know what the future holds. He has been such a very, very good dog and we love him so much.

  12. I have 2 fur babies who are 7 years old, Ellie and Reese. They are rescues and the greatest dogs ever. They keep us active and are very funny together, they keep us laughing. If it wasn’t for them, I think we would be a little lazy, so they have rescued us from boredom and laziness.

  13. Hi, we have 1 fur baby, he is 6 years old and his name is Honeybear. He is half Schnauzer and half?? My husband had our local radio station on and he heard that a man was giving away puppies, well he went because we had recently lost our other fur baby we had. I was devastated when we lost him so my husband had been telling me that all I needed was another fur baby and I told him I didn’t want one at all anymore, because it is super hard when we loose them. Well, I didn’t know he had gone to look at the puppies they had announced on the radio. So my husband surprised me and when I saw how cute and how small he was of course I wanted him, I actually did want another puppy . I was so very happy that my husband got us another puppy and Honeybear is so sweet and he just adds so much joy to our lives. The man was giving away the whole litter of puppies because they weren’t full Schnauzers, all I can say is having gotten Honeybear is our Great gain and the man’s Great loss. We love our Honeybear.

  16. My 4 legged pal came from a yard sale. I stopped at a yard sale one day and this dachsund came running up and jumped in my car and wouldn’t get out. I finally got him to get out and he followed me through the yard sale. The woman asked me if I wanted him because she needed to find a home for him. She was moving and couldn’t take the dog. Of course he came home with me and his name is Willie, my cover hog.
