MALIBU BLUFF by Janna King & Giveaway

Last summer THE SEASONAIRES was one of the novels heating up everyone’s beach bag. Now Janna King is back with her follow-up, MALIBU BLUFF (Pegasus) which is equally sizzling hot and a must read Summer ’19.

A fresh group of seasonaires hits the California coast  to promote fashion mogul Lyndon Wyld’s eponymous clothing line. This year, the stakes are higher as the brand must recover from last summer’s scandal after the death of one of Lyndon’s seasonaires. This new crew, led by last year’s star seasonaire, Mia, must up their game as they lounge on Malibu’s beaches, socialize at star-studded parties, and live the “planned casual” SoCal lifestyle. What could possibly go wrong?

Mia is thankful that she won’t have to live with another former seasonaire, Presley, who is now handling Lyndon Wyld’s public relations in Los Angeles. Still, she’s wary about going back to work for Lyndon, who’s not the most trustworthy or ethical boss. Mia will share a stunning modern manse with Eve, an outspoken activist; Alex, a gorgeous boundary pusher; Chase, a professional surfer; Oliver, a preppy charmer; and Brandon, the son of Lyndon’s business partner, and the young producer of the brand’s new digital channel, which is meant to boost exposure and buzz.

As the seasonaires make Malibu their playground, providing juicy and stylish entertainment for fans and followers, danger lurks not too far behind. Trouble from Mia’s past comes back to haunt her, threatening not just her future, but the fate of those around her. And when the line between what’s real and what’s staged gets blurred, the results could be deadly.

Secrets, greed, guilt, fashion, danger and lust – MALIBU BLUFF has it all.

Armed with a BA in English from UCLA and an MA in Film/TV from LMU, Janna King began her career with a job as a movie studio receptionist. Her produced credits include TV movies for Lifetime and The Hallmark Channel, series for Sony, Spelling, and more, and in children’s entertainment, Disney Junior, Warner Bros. 1. My summer plans consist of reading, day-trips to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park, and gardening, and spending time with my twin daughters.

  2. I will be a grandma again any day so I plan on spending a lot of time with her/him. I have 3 little grandsons so maybe it will be a little girl? 👧

  3. My son graduates high school in a few weeks so for his gift, we have a 7-day cruise planned for August!! Also we have some camping trips planned and then just playing outside with the grandbabies that I keep everyday!

  5. My summer plans involve spending time at the beaches along the west coast with my twins. Perhaps we will take a drive to Malibu?

  6. Reading in my back yard and visiting my daughter and her family in Columbus. We’ll also do a couple of day trips to Misquamicut Beach in RI.

  7. Going to California for ten days! Other than that, it’s all I can do to keep up with yard work! Maybe a CPL days here and there camping.

  8. I have to work, so I really don’t have any fun plans. I am hoping that I can plan a small vacation for my husband and me, but we will have to see if he can get the time off work.
