Anita Hughes is the author of over a dozen novels that take readers to exotic locales such as Paris, Rome, St. Barts, Monarch Beach, the Hamptons and this Christmas season, we jet off of to St. Moritz, Switzerland. In CHRISTMAS AT THE CHALET (St.Martin’sPress), New York bridal designer Felicity Grant is showing her eighth and most glamorous bridal collection at the five-star, Badrutt’s Palace Hotel.

CHRISTMAS AT THE CHALET takes place over the seven days before the event. It’s a blur of mouth-watering cuisine, high couture, the absolute A-list and of course, romance! It’s everything readers have come to expect from an Anita Hughes novel. Felicity is most excited to unveil her organza bridal gown with diamond snowflake buttons, but first, she’s going to need a Christmas miracle.

  1. What is your fondest Holiday memory?

When my children were young they would sing Christmas carols for the whole family on Christmas Eve. They would wear Christmas pajamas and we would all drink hot apple cider and it was a lot of fun.

  3. What I love most about the holidays is the family meal. I try to prepare all their favourites and I think they appreciate a home cooked meal. That is the best part. Conversation, food, and good cheer.

  4. I love that everyone is in better spirits and we are nicer to friends, family, and strangers. If only the spirit could last the year round.

  5. I love the beautiful trees, lights and decorations. Most of all having my very small family together. Seems to be such a quiet and calm time for us.

  6. What I love most about Christmas is spending time with our family. With one girl living across the country, another in college 7 hours away and the third living in her own apartment, I no longer take spending time together for granted. I’m thrilled to cook and bake for them and spend the days in our pjs, playing games and watching movies.
