The tulip sisters are in for the most colorful summer of their lives.
In April, we shared the first two chapters of Susan Mallery’s, new novel, SECRETS of the TULIP SISTERS (Harlequin) and gave away a bouquet of tulips to one lucky Thoughts on This ‘n That blog follower. Just this past Tuesday, the book was published to much fanfare. and today we’re giving away on copy of SECRETS of the TULIP SISTERS.
This is one book you want to make sure you get to read this summer. In little Tulpen Crossing in northern Washington state, there are as many secrets being kept as tulips blooming across the valley. In SECRETS of the TULIP SISTERS, Kelly Murphy’s life as a tulip farmer is going along fine. She has BFF Helen to dish with, but that all dramatically changes, with the arrival of two unexpected people.
Tulpen Crossing’s prodigal son, Griffith Burnett, yes, the same Griffith who made Kelly’s life in school hell, and her estranged, very beautiful, but unwelcome sister, Olivia come to town. Tempted by a now-dreamy, Griffith, annoyed by Olivia, Kelly is overwhelmed by the secrets that were so easy to keep when she was alone.
Once again, Susan Mallery takes on the topics of friends, family, forgiveness and love in a story with mostly, likeable characters whose story intertwine. Like most sisters, Kelly and Olivia don’t see eye to eye and their secrets tumble out in one big mess., revealing some truths that will change everything they thought they knew. Can they accept the truth about just about everything and become loving sisters. That’s for you to find out.
We’re almost halfway through summer, and this is the perfect novel to take to the beach or sit poolside and read. Hum? I suggest a very chilled Pinot grigio to go along with reading SECRETS of the TULIP SISTERS.
Haven’t read ant but would like to
